Tofig Babayev, representative of the Cybernetics Institute, NCP ICT Azerbaijan, took part in the meeting in Oslo (Norway) on 20-21 September, 2011, devoted to the EU Horizon 2020 scientific research and technology programme. Exchange of opinion was conducted with ICT NCP representatives of the EU research and technology framework programmes from over 50 countries.
Workshops on the procedures of participation in the EU 7th Framework Programme were organized in March-May 2011. Innovative project proposals from all laboratories of the Institute were considered and 7 project proposals were selected to participate in the 7th Framework Programme.

Representative of ‘Foreign Relations and Innovation’ sector of the Cybernetics Institute paid a working visit to Brussels (Belgium) on 27-30 November, 2011.
The trip was initiated by the official invitation from the ICT Research and Innovation Department of the EU Information Society and Media Directorate General to participate in the 4th ICT Coordinators’ Day in Brussels on 28 November, 2011,  and in the NCP meeting in Brussels on 29 November, 2011.

2 project proposals for tenders announced by STCU – Scientific Technological Centre of Ukraine have been prepared with the assistance of R.I.T.A.:
* ‘Development of technology for determination of coordinates of anomalous seismic processes’ project approved by collaborators from 3 foreign countries (Canada, USA and Greece) was submitted to the tender announced by the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine.
By the resolution of the STCU Governing Board, the project was awarded the EU grant in the amount of 36,617 EUR.
